Cove is the helpdesk we wanted when we were watching small businesses pay £5,000+ a year for software that still made them copy-paste replies. So we built it.
Why I built Cove.
I'm Mark McNally. I run CodeRock, a small software company in St Helier, Jersey. Before Cove, I spent enough time inside other people's helpdesks to know two things were broken at once.
One. Lean teams were paying enterprise prices. £5,000-£20,000 a year, per-seat, on tools designed for 2,000-seat call centres. They didn't need 80% of the features. They paid for them anyway.
Two. AI was a bolt-on. Every helpdesk had an "AI summarise" button or a chatbot that would pretend to help a customer for 30 seconds before handing off. None of them were designed around the idea that a draft already exists by the time a human opens the ticket.
So I rebuilt the helpdesk from that idea. AI-first. Cited drafts. Humans approve, edit, or reject, never the other way around. One flat price, free migration. The tool I wanted small teams to have.
