/ WHERE COVE WINS

For teams whose job is support,
Cove fits cleaner.

Pricing built for support volume, not seat counts

Service Hub Pro is $100/seat/month with a 5-seat minimum. Ten agents costs $12,000/yr before AI credits and before the Pro onboarding fee. Cove is £99/month total. The maths flip the moment you have more than three or four agents. More on per-seat pricing.

AI without credit accounting

Breeze AI is metered by credit, with credits replenished by tier. Heavy use means topping up. Cove drafts on every ticket inside the flat fee with no credit ledger, no top-ups, no "you're at 80% of your monthly AI credits" emails. The AI is the product, not a metered upsell.

Shadow Mode means zero-risk trial

Cove can run alongside HubSpot for 30 days. We import your tickets via the HubSpot Conversations API, mirror new ones in read-only, and your team sees Cove's drafts on real tickets without anything being sent. If it isn't better, you walk. No migration weekend, no cutover risk.

A product, not a ladder

HubSpot's support features escalate up the Hub ladder: Customer Portal on Pro, advanced workflows on Pro, custom reporting on Enterprise. The features you want today may live one tier up. Cove ships one tier. Everything is in it. There is no upsell path.

/ WHERE HUBSPOT WINS

Honest section.
If HubSpot is your CRM, the maths change.

Unified data model with HubSpot CRM

If your sales team already runs deals, contacts, and companies in HubSpot CRM, Service Hub plugs in without an integration layer. Tickets sit next to deals on the same contact record. Custom properties on contacts flow into tickets without mapping. Cove syncs to HubSpot CRM via a connector, but the native experience is unbeatable when you already own the platform.

Customer Portal

Service Hub's Customer Portal lets your customers log in, view ticket status, and continue conversations from a branded surface. If self-service ticket status is a meaningful share of your support model, that's a HubSpot feature Cove doesn't have today.

Breeze across the stack

Breeze AI works across Sales Hub, Marketing Hub, and Service Hub. If you want one AI surface drafting marketing emails, scoring deals, and resolving tickets, HubSpot's bet is on that horizontal coherence. Cove only does support, on purpose.

/ MIGRATION TEARDOWN

How Cove imports your HubSpot.

The import runs through HubSpot's CRM and Conversations APIs in under an hour for most accounts under 50,000 tickets. Nothing is mutated in your HubSpot portal. You keep HubSpot Service Hub live while Cove ingests, and the connector keeps writing ticket activity back to HubSpot CRM if you want it to.

Tickets → pulled via /crm/v3/objects/tickets (paginated, with associations to contacts, companies, deals)
Conversations + threads → /conversations/v3/conversations (full message history, channel metadata)
Contacts + companies → /crm/v3/objects/contacts + /companies (associations preserved)
Knowledge Base articles → imported into Cove's knowledge base, indexed for AI citation
Canned snippets → imported as Cove canned responses, then optionally promoted to AI prompt templates
Workflows → mapped to Cove workflow rules where conditions translate 1:1; HubSpot-specific actions (sequence enrolment, etc.) flagged for review
Custom ticket properties → preserved; property IDs remapped to Cove fields with a documented translation table

We don't import: Customer Portal configuration, Service Hub SLAs (different model), HubSpot marketing or sales-side workflows, Breeze configuration and credit ledgers, Help Desk Inbox routing rules tied to HubSpot teams.

/ FAQ

Questions we get.

We use HubSpot CRM. Does Cove keep that working?

Yes. Cove ships a direct HubSpot CRM connector. Contacts, companies, and deals stay in HubSpot. Cove pulls them into the ticket sidebar so agents see deal context next to the message. Closed tickets and timeline activity can write back to HubSpot CRM so your sales team sees the support history on the contact record.

Can I keep HubSpot during a trial?

Yes. Shadow Mode mirrors your HubSpot tickets into Cove read-only. Your team sees Cove's drafts on real tickets without anything being sent. HubSpot stays the source of truth until you decide to cut over.

What about the Customer Portal?

Cove doesn't have a customer-facing portal today. If your customers actively log in to track tickets, that's a HubSpot strength we don't match yet. If you mostly use the portal for ticket-status emails, Cove sends those automatically on state changes.

How does Cove's AI compare to Breeze?

Breeze AI is metered by credit and spans Sales, Marketing, and Service. Cove's AI is included in the flat £99/month, scoped only to support: drafting replies with cited sources and waiting for human approval. Different scope, different pricing model. Heavy users save money on Cove; light AI users on Service Hub Starter may not see the gap.

Is Cove cheaper than HubSpot for every team?

On Service Hub Free or Starter, the absolute prices are similar for tiny teams. On Pro (5-seat minimum, $100/seat/mo), Cove is meaningfully cheaper from the moment you're on that tier. If you depend on HubSpot CRM and want the Service-Hub-on-the-same-data-model coupling, the price isn't the only variable.

What if Cove doesn't work for us?

Shadow Mode means you find out during trial, not after switching. Nothing is destructive. You stay on HubSpot. We don't have a cancellation department because there's nothing to cancel until you cut over.

If it's not better, you keep HubSpot. No tax.
